Belanja iklan naik 11 peratus

KUALA LUMPUR 7 Julai - Perbelanjaan pengiklanan (Adex) bagi pelbagai media di Malaysia berkembang 11 peratus pada Mei 2009 berbanding bulan sebelumnya yang mencatat penyuncupan satu peratus.

Perbandingan Adex televisyen berkembang daripada segi peratusan dan secara mutlaknya mengatasi akhbar, demikian menurut laporan kemas kini oleh Carat Media Services (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Menurut data yang diperoleh daripada Nielsen Malaysia, pengumpul data pasaran itu, Carat Media Services berkata, Adex Mei 2009 sebanyak RM538 juta itu terus menyamai paras tahun sebelumnya.

"Berdasarkan kelembapan ekonomi semasa, prestasi itu patut dipuji," katanya menerusi satu kenyataan hari ini.

Mengikut perbandingan bulanan, antara Adex yang mencatatkan peningkatan ialah akhbar, sebanyak tujuh peratus, televisyen 17 peratus, radio 23 peratus dan majalah 22 peratus. - Bernama
