MALAYSIAN shares are likely to remain steady today, though investors are likely to remain cautious and would be closely watching the other regional markets. “The market is expected to range bound today and maybe the whole of this week, and any negative news on the economic or political front can lead to a slide,” said a dealer at a local brokerage.
“I guess at the moment, the regional markets would be giving a cue to the Malaysian markets,” she said. Last Friday, the Dow Jones industrial average gained 53.92 points, or 0.75 per cent, to 7,223.98. - Reuters
