Govt may liberalise more services sectors

THE government is looking at liberalising other services sector to attract more investment, Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Mustapa Mohamed said today.

He said the ministry was looking at it in greater detail.

"We are looking at it now. More to come in coming months," he told a media briefing in conjunction with the Forbes Global CEO Conference which kicks off today.

Mustapa said the government wanted to see more business activities that could stimulate growth.



"In order to that, the government will ensure red tape is reduced to encourage more businesses," he said. -- BERNAMA
