KUALA LUMPUR: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KUALA LUMPUR COMPOSITE INDEX [] (FBM KLCI) futures were lower at midday today in line with a weak cash market, dealers said.
At lunch break, the October 2009 and December 2009 contract were 11 points lower at 1,260 and 1,260 respectively while November 2009 lost nine points to 1,261.5 and March 2010 eased 12.5 points to 1,260.
A total of 4,525 lots were transacted while open interests stood at 16,498 contracts.
The underlying FBM KLCI was 0.52 of a point higher at 1,260.58. — Bernama
